Staying in London once should be on the goal list of any traveler’s. Kew Gardens – officially called the Royal Botanic Gardens – is situated in southwest London on the south bank of the Thames and is a wonderful place to spend time as you enjoy the numerous plants grown amidst its 300-acres. Laid out in 1759, the gardens became government property in 1841. In 1897 Queen Victoria added Queen’s Cottage and the adjoining woodland. A variety of tours are available free with admission, and many musical and cultural events are held here throughout the year.

Capitoline Museums – It may have taken the Romans 400 years to build the Capitoline Museums, after they were designed in 1536 by Michelangelo, but the wait was worth it. This outstanding collection of art and archeological museums, which started with a papal donation in the 15th century, can be found at Piazza del Campidoglio atop Capitoline Hill. The collections include medieval and Renaissance art, old Roman statues and jewels.

Most visited Vancouver attractions : For many Vancouver visitors, Canada Place is where a trip begins. The unusual roof creates the impression of a huge sailing vessel. The architecturally remarkable structure is part cruise ship terminal, part convention center and hotel, and part hub for sightseeing bus tours. At the end of the pier, there are panoramic views and the Flyover Canada attraction – a fun flight simulator and Canadian geography lesson. Also nearby, Waterfront Station is a major transit hub with ferries departing for the public market at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver.

Africa is a fabulous destination if you are looking for raw wildlife feeling. None of the most popular safari destinations – South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and Botswana – has travel advisories against them, but check smarttraveller.gov.au for updates before you travel. Health-wise, ebola is a non-issue: the World Health Organisation declared the 2014-15 outbreak officially over early last year and it was on the opposite side of this vast continent anyway. Even if you travel regularly to developing countries and keep up to date with vaccines such as tetanus, it’s wise to see your GP or a travel specialist such as the Travel Doctor (traveldoctor.com.au) at least six weeks before your trip to discuss possible health issues in the areas you’ll be visiting.

A few selected travel locations that i think must be visited at least once. Scandinavia and especially Finland is a fabulous travel destination. Tivoli Gardens – This amusement park is wonderful for both young and old. It was founded in 1843 and has come to gain much popularity. Walt Disney took much of his inspiration from these gardens to create Disneyland and the park is now referred to as the “Disneyland of Scandinavia”. The park offers rides, games, musicals, ballet, and major concerts. It is open winter through summer making this an excellent Scandinavian attraction.

Do you know that you can study abroad, even on scholarship without IELTS or TOEFL? When applying for studies in schools abroad, one of the toughest hurdles to overcome for admission into a good university is the TOEFL or the IELTS exam requirement. Expectedly, many international students who are from non-English speaking backgrounds and have had very little training in the language, don’t possess the level of English proficiency to qualify the TOEFL or the IELTS tests. Additionally, these tests incur more costs to the already piling expenses a student has to pay for quality education. See extra details about scholarships for nigerian students to study abroad.

Mexico is a fabulous place if you are searching for ancient history mixed with modern attractions feeling. Just outside of Tulum is Cenote Dos Ojos, one of the country’s largest underwater cave systems. The name means the cavern of two eyes, referring to the two sinkholes connected by a long passageway. The water in the caverns is filtered through limestone, making it exceptionally clear. As a result, Cenote Dos Ojos is wildly popular with both snorkelers and more serious scuba divers, some of whom head deep into the underwater cavern.

If you haven’t quite reached your quota of ancient things to do in Cancun, then you may want to visit Tulum. Tulum was once a walled port city that was protected from invasion and continued operating normally for nearly 70 years after the Spanish Conquest. Sitting on the cliff-side overlooking incredible beaches and perfect blue water, Tulum was one of the largest cities built by the Mayans. A trip to Tulum is something you don’t want to miss, it’s also one of the top things to do in Playa del Carmen. Make sure to bring your swimsuit and take a dip in the gorgeous sea.
